I believe that the reason for this is that musicians are not learning how to niche market – they are still working on the old model of “getting discovered” and having someone else take care of their business.

Too many musicians are chasing their own tails trying to “Make it” or “get famous” using this old model.

I teach my clients to market using the Multiple Streams of Niche Marketing and my clients are finding their long tails. This is a great way to make a good living doing what you love.
